Hello readers! I hope everything's well. It sure is with me. Yesterday, I finished Overtaken by Mark H. Kruger, which is the sequel to Overpowered, and honestly it was amazing. I'm hoping for a third, but I haven't seen anything about a third book yet. (Y'all should go read it--normally I'm not into sci-fi type books but I've been addicted to this series. I literally couldn't stop reading!) Then, from after dinner until midnight I read entire Finding Audrey by Sophie Kinsella. Ah-mazing! Please do yourself a favour and go read both.
So there's that. Then, this morning I woke up at 10 with the house all to myself. Most teenagers would either avoid all responsibilities or throw a party at this time(okay, maybe not a party at 10am but you know what I mean!) but me? I decided to try to make a peanut butter and banana smoothie. I looked up a recipe on Pintrest. but just kinda looked at what was needed (if you're wondering, I needed Greek yogurt, 1 banana, peanut butter, ice cubes, and vanilla extract). I had no idea how much to put in, I'm used to making simple, basic fruit-and-kale smoothies. This was a whole new level for me! I felt like I was conducting a science experiment. It was actually great though! I loved it and it tasted amazing. I highly recommend it, but please, look up a recipe.

Okay, so my day continued with reading a bit of Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell, coffee, and bookshelf organizing. My friend picked me up at 1 to go the mall and we ate at our favourite restaurant and went shopping like crazy. My first find was from Forever 21. It was a pair of adorably cheap boot socks.
Do I need boot socks?
No.
Do I need any type of socks?
No.
But I buy them anyways.

I honestly have no regrets because look at how cute they are? They were only $4.80 too which wasn't too bad at all.
My next purchase is slightly embarrassing. I haven't shopped at Pink since middle school but my friend wanted to go in and I saw their headbands and thought, why not? It's heather gray and super adorbs. It was $7.95 (okay, I have a bit of regrets because of the price) but I've needed some cute, neutral headbands for yoga. So at least it'll get some use. But that's not what I'm worried about. We were supposed to receive one of the utterly useless but cute Pink dogs free with our purchase but our girl didn't give them to us. I am yelling back at myself because why didn't I say anything??? Oh, well, it's over and I can't do anything about it.

My next and last purchase was something I actually needed. A basic black skirt from Francesca's. It was supposed to be $38, but it was marked down to $23. Honestly, I probably could've gotten it cheaper somewhere else but I know I would've just gone longer and longer and longer without a black skirt which seems to be an essential. The only black skirt I have is from TJMaxx, and it would be an excellent skirt if the zipper didn't break and it wasn't too short (I bought it in like, eighth grade). Plus this one has super sturdy, thick material and it feels so nice and I don't even know how to describe it. It's just perfect! And the picture isn't very good because I didn't have very good lighting and it was getting darker and cloudy outside.
Well, that was my fab day! What did you do today? Goodnight, readers!
